Glenn Dawdy (pictured on left) was the original founder of Highway HiFi back in 1981. In that time, Glenn had worked hard to making Highway become the best in the county for all your mobile audio needs. Shortly thereafter, Glenn opened a second location in Merritt Island, and yet a third in Titusville.
	Glenn worked in the industry for many years into the late 90's. In approxamatley 1998, Glenn sold Highway HiFi in pursuit of other career opportunities. Glenn at that point in time made other investments, still in the car industry.The new owners started running with the company when they first took ownership. Highway HiFi was the talk of the town. Although, over time they realized that they could not keep up the integrity of the name, nor the work load they once took on.
					Everything was fine untill the end of their career here at Highway HiFi. On Christmas day, 2002, the two owners decided they no longer felt they had what it took to stay in business. After Christmas, everyone came back to work with, well .. No jobs. Seeing the situation at hand, with many, many upset consumers, Glenn took care of the situation. Glenn opened a new company called Hightech HiFi. Since then, we have been back on our feet, running better than ever; with happy customers and two stores running stronger than ever !
			Company founded in 1981, making it the oldest independant mobile audio company in Brevard County.
			Glenn always places himself in the customer's shoes. He treats the customer how he would want to be treated.
			When running two stores strong, Circuit City opened and our sales increased by 30%. Shortly thereafter, Best Buy opened and our sales increased another 10%.
			Hightech HiFi always has offered a lifetime labor warranty on all of our work, whether you bought the product from us or not.
